Holidays are closing in on us

Holidays are fast approaching.  Not really sure if I am ready for them this year. My children are all having feasts at their homes. And of course I am invited

So hard once they have families of their own and wanting to have it at their own homes.  So used to cooking it  and inviting  everyone..  This will be the first year that I am not cooking a turkey or doing all of the usual goodies..  Maybe I will consider it a treat to have them do all of it and treat me.   Sure am going to miss doing it..

I do have an idea.  What if I cook a pre christmas turkey dinner 2 weeks before Christmas.   Now that just might work.

Tomorrow will put my  special holiday recipies

Nature

Both of these are creations in my garden. And they are always subject to change.  The first one has a spirit ball.  I captured it just as the sun was beginning to set.  The bottom  one was a combination of 2 types of plants.  As you can see, I use old  driftwood to enhance each section.

Welcome to my world

Welcome to my world.  There is a world of beauty out there.  You only have to observe and use your imagination.  I walk the woods all the time and enjoy natures beauty.  My favorite times are sunset and sunrise.

I find things in my walks.  Such as a fallen limb.  I create works of art.  You can also make candle holders out of the smaller  limbs.  These must have knotholes.
